Stacked Dual Dynamic Driver Architecture
⚙️ How the stacked cavity works: KZ places both drivers in a top and bottom stacked arrangement rather than side by side. This keeps the overall shell compact and comfortable while allowing each driver to operate in its own isolated acoustic chamber, eliminating frequency interference between the bass and treble drivers.
4 Tuning Switches: Up to 16 Sound Profiles
Each KZ Castor ships with four physical rocker switches on the shell. Two switches adjust low frequencies and two adjust high frequencies, each in two stages. Flip them in any combination and you unlock a completely different sound signature without changing the earphone itself.
- DDDD All switches off. Flat, reference tuning. The Harman baseline, detailed, balanced and neutral.
- UUDD Bass boosted by 2dB. Slightly more punch in the low end while keeping mids and highs clean.
- DDUU Mid and high frequency lift by 2dB. Brighter, more forward treble and enhanced vocal presence.
- UUUU All switches on. Maximum bass and treble boost simultaneously. V-shaped, energetic and fun.
